- The lower level Riverfront Park path, a major part of the route in the current Half Marathon course, is not available for all of 2019 due to construction. The Harrisburg Half Marathon is in the process of being re-routed to accommodate for this closure. The updated course will be listed on this website once details are finalized. The 2019 route will still have great views of the Susquehanna River!
- Due to re-routing the 2019 Half Marathon course, we are not expecting to be able to include the 3 Bridges 5k this year.
REGISTRATION DETAILS AND FEES
Participants must be at least 13 years old to register for both the Half Marathon. All registrations are final. All registration price cutoffs are at 11:59 pm on the dates listed below. Please note that there are no refunds.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Race day registration begins at 6:30am on Sunday, September 9th at the Carousel Pavilion on City Island (near the starting line). All race participants are encouraged to be at the island no later than 7:30am, due to the high volume of walk-ups and packet pickups. Remember, the race starts promptly at 8:00am. Walkers go off at 7:15am.

Race shirts are not guaranteed for participants who register during packet pickup times.
If you are unable to participate in the 2019 Harrisburg Half Marathon you may defer your entry to the 2020 event. The fee to defer is $20. The last day to defer is Tuesday, September 3rd at 11:59PM. Click here for information about how to defer your entry.

Participants are allowed to pick up the race bag of a friend or family member.

The Harrisburg Half-Marathon offers a walker division for anyone that feels they can not complete the race in under four hours. All participants must report to the registration area no later than 7:00am on race morning. Walkers will start at 7:15am. Aid stations are available approximately every three miles along with port-a-potties. All walkers will receive a finisher medal at the completion of the race. Post-race food and drinks will be available following the race.

- Awards for the Half Marathon and relay will be held at the Carousel Pavilion on City Island at approximately 10:30am
- Overall awards are scored by gun time. All age group and relay awards are scored by chip time. No exceptions.
- No duplicate awards.

Results will be posted on the Falcon Race Timing website as soon as they are available
The race will be timed by Falcon Race Timing using disposable chip timing. All race participants must cross the finish mat to register a time. Be sure to wear your bib on the front of your body during the race to ensure an accurate time as the chips will be attached to the back of these. The preliminary results will be posted after the race. They will also be posted on the Falcon Race Timing website.
Spectators interested in viewing parts of the race are encouraged to find spots along the Upper Riverfront path.
Participants can park on City Island, which is also the location of the Half Marathon packet pick-up, start, and finish. You can view of map of City Island here. Click here for a map of the parking lots on City Island.
Water stations location TBA
Portable toilets will be placed at the start and finish line area near the Carousel Pavilion on City Island. On the course, toilets will be placed at the Vine Street ramp (just beyond the Comfort Inn in Shipoke) and near the intersection of Division & Front streets (on the riverfront path). These toilets will be available as you run in both directions along riverfront. Shower facilities will also be available at the East Shore YMCA until 4:00PM.
EMS utility vehicles will be available along the course. A medical tent will be available near the finish line on City Island. EMTs will be in contact with each water station in case of emergency.
Can I wear headphones?
Headphones are permitted but not recommended, as it is an open course.
Where can I park?
Race participants can park at City Island for free the day of the race.
Can I run with my child in a baby jogger or with my dog?
No. We do not allow baby joggers or pets on the course for safety reasons.
Is there a minimum age limit?
The minimum age is 13 years old. Please be advised that there will not be specially designated course personnel to monitor younger participants on the course.
